... which means we are still eating as a family. I wanted a large oven as well because we entertain a lot so it meant that I could do more in the oven at once. Nothing is ever cooked within the time stated on the packet and meals that I've prepared for years take longer in this oven. It takes a long time to warm up and foods that are cooked from the oven being cold, like the newer "take away" pizzas from the freezer never come out well because the oven doesn't warm up fast enough. There is only one shelf so yo...more

Indesit KP9508EXG: Indesit Range Cooker (293 words)

We bought this cooker just over a year ago when redecorating our kitchen. I'd wanted a large range cooker for a while. I'm sorry I did now. I've always had gas before but the gas range cookers were beyond our budget so I decided to go for a dual fuel cooker. The five spider burners are great as we are always cooking on the hob and with sometimes cooking different meals it means that I can cook at the same time, which means we are still eating as a family. We purchased this cooker a few years ago after wanting to buy a range double oven but it was sold out. so this was the best alternitive. About the cooker. It has five gas burners one of which is a large wok burner which I find is ideal even if you dont use them all the time. The oven it self is quite big enough to fit a large chicken in or two oven trays in either side of each other. The only downside is that there is only one shelf so at times I miss having another shelf to put ...  Read the complete review

What an excellent cooker. We paid less than £500 this and it was a good price. When we moved into our new home we thought we would need a gas cooker due to electrical complications. It was difficult to find one on our budget that was a range type. Some very clever salesman actually decided to ask why we couldnt have an electric or duel fuel and we explained. This very clever salesman then told us that with this type of duel fuel cooker the electrical part wasnt like an electric cooker as it just plugged straight into the mains via a normal plug. We were sold and took away our duel fuel cooker. The five gas rings are great, even if u never need to use five the ...  Read the complete review
