“ Brand: La Cafetiere / Type: Teapot „
For me, you cannot beat a nice cup of tea, without my cup of tea in a morning, I do not think I could start to function properly. I am a little set in my ways and think the best way for tea to me made is in a pot where it is allowed to stew so I have recently gone through a phase of buying different teapots. A couple of months ago, in one of Debenhams sales I spotted the Black Clipper Teapot, it looked quite different and was at a bargain price so I couldn't resist. *How to use:* All you need to do is add you tea leaves to the filter ball in which hangs on the middle of the pot, pour in the hot water and wait. *The design:* The teapot is glass with a nice chunky black handle and lid. You can see the silver filter ball hanging down in the middle of the pot. The teapot looks really stylish, so much so that I leave it out on the worktop. It can also be ran through the dishwasher (I am a bit lazy when it comes to washing pots) *Price and availability:* The product retails for around £35, I paid around £15 from my local Debenhams store, I have never seen it before this however a quick search online shows it can be purchased from a number of online retailers. *My thoughts:* The only downside I can find about this product is that sometime you get the occasional tea leaf in you cup, I think that the hols in the filter ball may be a little too big. Having said that, I use teabags the majority of the time so it doesn't really cause me much of a problem. I love the fact that the teapot is glass and see through, meaning that I know how string it is getting, although I love my tea, I do like it quite weak and this is idea. The tea pot also holds up to 1.5litres of water so we can all have a cup at breakfast. I recommend this product, although I would never pay the full RRP, if you can get it at a decent price, it is a real bargain. 4 out of 5 stars from me, just due to the RRP. Review may also be on other sites under the same user name. Thanks for reading.
