At the risk of sounding like a walking advertisement, did you know that standard non-sticking pans are coated with PTFE, a chemical which becomes dangerous to human health when heated to 260°C or above? I knew about this years ago but I only really put some thought into it recently when I started weaning my baby. So it was out with the old pans and in with the new. I bought this Greenpan on Amazon for £20 including P&P. Although this may be a steep price for a frying pan, I think it is worth it for my baby's health and for my overall family's health.
