With all the magazines and health food people touting the benefits of steaming as a healthy way of cooking, I set about looking for a convenient steamer. However, I have limited bench top space in my kitchen, and all the electric stacking steamers seemed to take up acres of room when in use, and tons of storage space when put away. Then I discovered the Le Creuset one. I already use Le Creuset pans, so a simple addition meant that I could steam while cooking other things for a meal at the same time. No extra space required and it's pretty conveniently small for storing in cupboards. It fits onto both my 18 and 20 cm pans very neatly, and the lid fits tightly enough to keep the steam in to cook the food very effectively. Overally an excellent addition to the kitchen, without breaking the bank. I would definitely recommend it.
