I love this product. Not only does it look beautiful when you leave it out on the kithcen counter, but it produces the most amazing meals. I've made loads of moroccan stews with this, and the meat is terrifically juicy and flavourful. You can use the cast iron base as a regualr frying pan, to saute the onions, peppers, spices etc., and then just add your liquid; stock, tomatoes etc and whatever meat you're using (lamb, chicken etc). The top works by allowing the moisture to stay within the dish but collecting the steam and the water returning to the base pan by dripping down the funnel shaped top. Works best with heat from beneath rather than in an oven. Easy to wash and clean. Only downside as with all Le Creuset products is that it's very heavy, and so you have to be prepared to deal with that - not good for people who have issues lifting.
