I have a lot of Pyrex products in my kitchen, as I suspect most people have also - and it's just one of those staple products that we don't realise how much we rely on them because we take them for granted just being there all the time. But these products really do make life a lot easier in the kitchen.

That's the thing about Pyrex......it's really quality - but without any gimmicks.

The bowl is just a plain glass bowl and there is nothing inspiring to look at. However, the glass is toughened and because it is toughened, it would take a hell of a lot to break it. I have dropped mine several times and it's still in one piece without any chips in it. The bowl is thermal resistant and so it can withstand boiling temperatures as well as freezing temperatures and so therefore literally any kitchen liquid or mixture can safety be placed into this bowl. It can even be used in the oven, the microwave and the freezer and to have such adaptability is rare in a product like this.

In addition to this, the bowl is dishwasher safe and always comes up sparkling clean. The bowl never stains or gets anything in-ground into it and so it still actually looks as good as the day I bought it. It's a fantastic buy.
