I enjoy cooking when I have enough time and we tend to eat a lot of roasted vegetables in our house and this Pyrex roasting dish is what I tend to use for this.

Pyrex is probably the most well known name for its tough ovenproof glass cookware. The glass is very strong so can withstand high temperatures, the higest I have used is 250c. Pyrex dishes can be used in the oven, microwave and freezer (this one is way too big for my microwave though!. They are stain proof, scratch proof and come with a 10 year waranty which I think is fantastic although I have never had to claim as yet.

The rectangular Pyrex roaster I have measures 39 cm x 25 cm. It has easy grip handles to help when lifting it from the oven (although these could do with being slightly bigger as hey are harder to grip with oven gloves). The dish is the perfect size to roast a large chicken with roast potatoes and / or vegetables. I also use it for making lasagne if we are having guests or I'm making up a batch to freeze etc.

I bought this dish for £7 at Home bargains which I think is a fantastic bargin for a dish that will continue to be used over and over again.

Overall I'd recommend the name Pyrex and this particular roasting dish as it's been used countless times in our house.
