We bought these Tesco Fingertip Sponge Pan Scourers when we did our online shopping at Tesco. They didn't have the ones were looking for and the site came up with these as a possible alterntiave. We decided to give them a go because at only just over a quid we thought it was a good price to pay for six of them.

They came all wrapped up in cellaophane which was a bit hard to get out in my view, unless you had a paid of scissors or a sharp knife (or good teeth). One side is made up of the sponge and the other side is made up of the dark green and wirey scourer side.

You just wet the sponge in water and you only need to add a tiny bit of washing up liquid and you will see that the whole thing just froths up aso that you are able to get to work straight away and clean those mucky pots and pans.

They are quite hard wearing but not the best, to be honest. After a few washes we found that the sponge started to come away from the scourer and went a bit flat. It soon lost its ability to scrub properly and we found we were having to use more and more pressure to get the same result.

They cannot be washed but we just soak ours overnight in the kitchen sink with a little bit of bleach and water and that is enough to keep them hygienically clean. You can only do this a few times though because the bleach will make them drop to bits even quicker.

Reasonable sponges and recommnded though not the best.
