I'm not the best cake baker but one of the things I am good at is making muffins. The small cake with the lovely tops, I am addicted to eating them as well as making them, fruit ones, chocolate ones, I even have a lovely couple of savoury recipes too and I also have an excellent pan in which to make them. This 12 space muffin pan from Wilton is great because it offers a bit more space than regular fairy cake pans do. Muffins are usually quite big and so this pan not only has good spacing between each muffin, it also has quite deep spaces too so you can make really big muffins and the muffin cases I use fit nicely in the spaces. The pan is fairly heavy but its still easy to get in and out of the oven. I actually like that its quite sturdy because it means you can hold onto it well with oven gloves and it does not move about like some flimsy pans do, meaning its a bit more safe and there's no danger of getting burnt or the muffins falling out. The muffin pan is said to have even heating due to the heavyweight aspect of it and I would definitely agree, I never come out with one muffin that's a bit smaller than the others or undercooked, they are all uniform and really nicely cooked. The pan is made of premium non-stick bakeware and I find that it's really easy to get the muffins out when they are cooked. Cleaning this pan is a doddle too, I stick it in the dishwasher as its dishwasher safe and it always comes out lovely and clean. All in all a lovely pan to cook my muffins with.
