Advantages: Easy to operate

Disadvantages: Charge time.

Just becaus I'm of the fairer sex does not mean that I cannot do the occasional bit of DIY and that is why I'm the proud owner of a Bosch PSR cordless drill.

One of the reasons I like this drill is that it is not too heavy and if needed I can use it with ust the one hand however for really steady drilling it is best to use two. In all it weighs 1.75kg so it has a nice balance to it, light enough to operate but enough weight to allow some force to be applied.

It has a rather natty speed control mechanism whichj makes use of a digital display and there are 25 power settings which is great as it means it can cope with a range of drilling and screw driving tasks.

It utilises a keyless chuck and the trigger is located at the front of the handle next to the locking button to prevent accidental use.

The charge on the battery is great and according to the instructions will last for three hours however I do find that it takes quite a while to fully charge.

I paid £85 for mine from B&Q.

Summary: Good cordless drill
