The Bosch Drill / screwdriver is a pice of kit that should be in every home. My wife has mastered the use of this tool and not had any difficulties at all. It is simple in its changing of drill and or screw head with the chuckless drill head. You simply hold onto the end and press the btton and it is open or shut dependent on what you need.

There is also a little slot for putting a phillips/ flathead interchangable piece on the drill itself when not being used. However I found this would fall off now and again and it was easier to keep it with all the other drill bits. When I bought mine it came in a carry case with the charger and two batteries. This is an inspiration in itself as you can leave one to charge while you crack on with the job in hand.

I have dropped mine several times and it is still functioning and does not have any cracks to the body. Not that i would suggest you do this just that you dont have to be too precious about it. Also being only 14v makes it safer to use around the house or outdoors. There is some weight to the drill and battery together but i prefer this as I think it adds to the robustness of the item.

It has hammer and normal drill function with 6 different sppeds that allow you to take your time especially through perspex. A good hanymans drill that can stand up to those bigger jobs
