      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Although the price could be offputting, their range of purposes lead to me recommending them.

I originally bought the Actifed Mult-Action Tablets to relieve me of my stuffy cold I had a while back. Recently they have come in handy when I started to suffer from symptoms of hayfever. My hayfever is quite mild, but when it does kick in I find it to be quite annoying and so I always take something for it. Actifed Multi-Action Tablets come in a blue and white box and each box contains 12 tablets. Costing around £3 a box may seem steep, but the claims are that they will unblock sinuses, dry runny noses, unblock stuffy noses and clear catarrh. I think with such a wide range of problems covered they are worth the expense, as they are useful in a number of situations. I am usually quite sceptical that one product can cure a number of different problems, but I have had nasal passages cleared by these tablets and also hayfever suppressed using these. Each tablets contains 2.5mg of Triprolidine hydrochloride and 60mg of Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, other ingredients include lactose. The packaging comes complete with a leaflet with the usual legal requirements on it, warnings and instructions. Adults and children over 12 years are to take one tablet every 4-6 hours, up to 4 times a day. When you consider this, 12 tablets is quite a reasonable amount. One of the warnings on the box is that the tablets may cause drowsiness, so shouldn't be taken before oeprating machinery or driving. The tablets come on a single hard plastic sheet, with a blue foil cover and a dozen individually segmented tablets. The tablets are around half the size of a regular Paracetamol tablet, for example, and are manageable for even the fussiest of consumers. I find the Actifed Multi-Action Tablets very helpful at easing a number of symptoms and although priced at £3 for a dozen tablets from all good pharmacies, they are well worth the expense. Not only do they work quickly and effectively they are also easy to swollow with a glass of water and will come in handy at some point for all the family - providing they are aged 12 years or over.
