Covonia Vapour Drops
Advantages: Easy to use, work very well, nice scent, cheap, long lasting, help me feel better.
Disadvantages: Not so effective when used on a tissue.
It has been that time of year recently where every time someone with a sniffle or cough has come near me I have almost felt myself becoming bunged up. I have been fortunate and have only been very ill on one occasion over the whole of the Winter season, well so far anyway!
The thing that I hate the most about having a cold is that stuffy feeling which always makes me feel like I can't breathe properly. This just stresses me out and makes me feel even worse than I am really feeling. I tend to use sinus tablets, throat sprays, menthol sticks for my nose and anything else that I can find to make myself feel less stuffy and horrible.
I first started using these Covonia Vapour Drops after picking them up for just £1.00 in my local Poundland. This £1.00 paid for a 15ml bottle which has lasted me for several months with occasional use when needed.
These drops come provided in a bottle and this is within a cardboard box. The colours are an orange and yellow colour which is quite bright and uplifting. It states on the box that this is for 'nasal congestion & catarrh' and that this contains peppermint oil & menthol.
These drops are incredibly simple to use, I tend to use mine in a facial sauna when I have the time and I have even used these in a bowl of water at work with a tea towel over my head. I find that within just a few minutes that my sinuses feel incredibly clear and I can really smell the menthol and peppermint.
Overall I have been really pleased with the quality of these drops. I find that just a few drops in my facial sauna is fantastic and I usually drop them in to 50ml of water to give me lots of steaming time without using too many drops. My stuffiness always decreases fully when using this for more than 5 or 10 minutes and this lasts for a good hour or two before it gradually increases again. On occasion I have used this on tissue and slept with it next to my nose, this had a mild effect and while it does not work as well as the steaming it does work better than some other drops I have tried in the past.
These drops have worked well for me and while I use them in conjunction with a host of other products they definitely contribute towards making me feel better quicker. The price of this cannot be beaten really and £1.00 is absolutely fantastic for a medicine cupboard item that helps me feel better, smells nice, clears my airways and lasts for months and months!
Summary: A fantastic bottle of vapour drops.
