Amazon Mastercard:
... signed up for an Amazon MasterCard as I usually use an American Express Nectar card, but Amex isn t accepted everywhere. This card fills in the gaps! I had originally signed up for a Amazon MasterCard when it was run by Halifax, but earlier this year, Halifax and Amazon parted company and the card reverted back to a Halifax card. Put off by the lack of points and cashback on offer, I closed the account. A few mont... Read the full review: One Credit Card.... And You're Done by alexlea88 |

American Express Nectar Credit Card ... American Express Nectar Card, is, unsurprisingly, an American Express credit card from Nectar, the UK-based loyalty scheme. Nectar is used by a range of companies across the UK, including Sainsbury s, BP, Debenhams and Argos. Being a Sainsbury s customer, and looking for a credit card that gives me cashback over interest-free periods or balance transfer deals, I plumed for the Nectar Amex. The application process was straightforward enough and the new card arrived promptly. The card itself, although an old style now, had an interesting transparent part at the bottom, which made it stand out from the crowd. The Nectar Amex offers 2 extra points on top of what you wou... Play.Com MBNA Visa ... used to have the Amazon credit card and when that card expired I noticed that conveniently the Play.com website in conjunction with MBNA had introduced a very similar credit card. The offer was spend £150 on the card in 3 months and receive a £15 Play.com voucher - if you put your normal spending on the card this is easily done. I applied for the card and got accepted no problem, as with any card there is the risk of rejection but MNBA does not seem to be one of the stricter providers. My card and PIN arrived not long after. I spent my £150 and when the time came to claim my voucher this happened really easily and arrived via email a couple of days later. After this ... Tesco Clubcard ... Clubcard If you are unsure what this is, it is basically a loyalty card which allows you to earn points for the purchases that you buy. These points then accumulate and you can then redeem them for rewards (much like Dooyoo miles actually!) During November, Tesco are offering double clubcard points which amounts to 2 for every £1 that you spend. This is great as it means that you can do some early Christmas shopping and also earn extra points while you do so - result. (These points are redeemed as clubcard vouchers, and come in £2.50 vouchers) Have a look at their website to gain more information and also see what you can do with your clubcard points; http://...
