American Express Blue card is a very good deal, especially for those who pay off their monthly balance in full. The Interest rate is not particularly low but this does not concern me as I pay off every month.

What you do get is a card which gives you 1% back on everything you spend, provided you make the minimum monthly payment on time. However in December and January this is doubled to 2%! Moneyback is paid back annually from when your account is opened so I have got a nice Christmas bonus to look forward to

The only drawback is that not everywhere accepts American Express, although all supermarkets, petrol stations and most major high street retailers do.

The other drawback is the £12 annual fee, however i got a mailshot through the post offering the card with no annual fee and a free camera so didn't have to pay!

Overall, this is a card well worth having, but you'll probably need a Visa or MasterCard as well for those places which dont take it.

Summary:
