Argos Store Card seemed like a good idea but it's what they don't tell you that's the problem (Argos Card)

Advantages: Its a nice card design

Disadvantages: High APR, Poor customer service, no advantage for using it

I have had the Argos Store Card for almost a year now. The good thing about Argos is they have almost everything you can need in their store. This card offers you 3 or 6 months payment holiday (depending the value of your purchase). However there is a 24.99% APR, so it will be better to put it on a credit card instead, as interest is still charged during the payment holiday!

Customer service for the card is really bad. You have to wait for a long time before someone answer your call. There seem to be no benifits to use the card anymore these days as they had removed the points reward. They used to send books of discounts out last year, but they don't do it anymore. So there is even lesser reasons to use the card.

Summary: Use your credit card with lower APR instead!
