Advantages: good for buy now pay later interest free deals

Disadvantages: interest almost same as minimum payment

Please beware of this card, Argos often tempt you to get one of thiese by frequently offering incentives like spend so much and pay 12 months later, which in itself is a good deal but if you end up not repaying the full sum by this time and just make the minimum payments on the card you will find that the interest charged almost equates to the minimum payment.

The Interest rate on the Argos card is about 30% so you would be better just using a credit card if you can't afford to buy something out right straight away.

Argos do do good deals as I have mentioned in the spend so much and pay in 6 months time, but I would suggest that if you do get one of these cards that you use it primarily for this reason and not for normal Argos purchases otherwise you could end up with a debt that will take you years to pay off

Summary: Only use sparingly and try to pay more than min payment
