Advantages: Interest free period

Disadvantages: 26% APR, Interest is deffered

I started an argos account nearly 3 years ago taking advantage of their 6month interest free plan, which I intended to pay off in good time, of course it doesn't always work out that way and argos considering their APR is 26% are a bit criminal in deffering those first 6 months of interest so at your 7th month statement are presented with a massive interest payment, my own bank credit card HSBC would not transfer from argos either. I know this is the way of storecards and I'm currently closing all mine down because for the interest rate they offer it's now a ludicrous manner of buying goods.

Good if you definately will pay it off before the interest free period ends.
