Advantages: Many standard fees are free

Disadvantages: None

I find the BoS credit cards so good that I have 6 of them.

The first reason is that BoS don't go putting silly charges on everything. There is no annual fee, and the usual length of interest free period. Best of all, there is no fee on the optional credit card cheques. That means you don't pay until a month after they have cashed the cheque, and without a fee.

You can get the card in an affinity version. This changes nothing for you, but BoS will pay a percentage of your spending to a charity or other organization. If you have/are getting a BoS card and don't have a preferred charity, then please ask for your card to be a Snowsport Scotland affinity card and help the country's ski team.

The company itself has always been more than fair to me, helping me with mail order companies that have ceased trading and refunding all interest when they sent a bill late.
