Barclaycard is obviously very successful at marketing. It's one of the most popular credit cards in the UK, despite also being one of the most expensive.

The interest rate is high, but then if your paying interest, you shouldn't have a credit card at all. Credit cards should only be used where you normally pay off the bill in full, otherwise you need to find a cheaper loan.

The annual fee is also quite ridiculous. Why anyone would want to pay to have a credit card when there are so many annual fee free cards, I don't know.

And as for the points/reward system, many customers have never actually redeemed any points. Why not just one of the cards which give you money back (up to 1%)?
