Advantages: Low interest charge rates.

Disadvantages: None.

I've been a holder of a Barclaycard for just over two years now and I personally think that this is one of the best credit cards currently available on the market.
Barclaycard has quite a low rate of interest and only charges £10 a year annual fee. (none if you spend over a certain amount a year)

I have personally gone over the set limit with Barclaycard and found that there is no extra charges which is the case for mose credit cards. The fee to draw money from the hole in the wall is only £1.50 and as long as your minimum payments are always paid they will let you raise your credit limit at any time. Also they only charge £2.50 from ATM's and for purchases in foreign countries.

They also have a rewards program in operation which can be used to buy gifts or money off holidays etc....

I would personally recommend this card to students and young people like me, or anyone else interested in getting a credit card.
