****Boots Advantage Card****
"The best loyalty scheme?"
Pretty much every store you go into has some sort of loyalty card-this is my review on the boots one.
**Application**
Pretty standard form to fill out - you give them your name address etc and then about a week later they send you out a card , usually with a couple of double point vouchers to get you started.
**How does the card work**
Boots offer you 4 points for every pound you spend in their store which works out at 4p back per pound, you just hand over the card when you are paying for your shopping and they will add them on. You continue doing this until you have the amount you want for a product,if your like me it will soon add up :-). The only thing about this is you can't spend part cash part points,it has to be one or the other.
**Point offers**
Most of the larger stores have a machine which you can stick your card in and get bonus vouchers e.g get 750 points when you buy any no7 product, helping you add to your points total even quicker.Boots also often have promotions on where you get points for spending over a certain amount.
*Clubs*
Boots have a parent club and a health care club both of which are worthwhile joining up to as they send you money off vouchers etc through the post. For example i recently got one for if i bought a trevor sorbie shampoo i would get the conditioner free.If you have an advantage card and are over 60 you get 10% off your shopping. At the moment i dont think they do any offers for students.
(this review also on ciao)
Summary: pretty good
