Advantages: Free to sign up, easy to collect points, easy to redeem points.

Disadvantages: Only pounds attain points, no part payment.

The Boots Advantage Card is a loyalty card scheme, for the company Boots.

I am a member of a few such schemes with different companies, and I have to say that this one is by far my favourite.

The card is good because it fits into your purse like your credit card.

I like the scheme because it is free to sign up to, and quite quick and easy, and whenever you buy something in Boots you get some points.

For each one pound that you spend, you get four points. This is great, because each point is worth one penny.

However, my complaint with this is that if you buy something for 99pence, then you do not get the four points! Of course, many products are 99pence so you either end up buying something else that´s cheap to round it up, or you go without!

Sometimes Boots run special deals, where you can buy something and get bonus points.

Reedeming the points is easy, but the one problem is that you are not allowed to pay for something partly with points and partly with cash.

Summary: Sign up if you shop in Boots!

I bought a £110 camera that was on offer at £80 a couple of weeks ago with Boots points that I'd been saving! Sam
