Rack them up! (Boots Advantage Card)
Member Name: durham_girl
Advantages: Easy to use, lots of points available Disadvantages: none! I'm not actually a big fan of Loyalty cards, I think they promote too much brand loyalty and actually encourage us to spend more money. BUT... hers's where I'm going to contradict myself! I really like the Boots Loyalty Card. For starters, you get 4 points per full pound spent. You used to be able to get part points per pound eg 3 points if you spent 75p, but this was stopped sometime last year. Aside from the 4 points, you can also visit the Advantage Card machine which most biggish Boots have. In there they have extra points offers, money off ofers and competitions. There is also the Boots magazine which is free to Advantage card holders, which gives you coupons for extra points and money off. The best thing about the advantage card points thought, is that you can spend them on just about anything in store, excluding the normal stuff like stamps, top ups, baby milk etc. The points go on your card straightaway and can be spent at the same time. No waiting for vouchers to arrive in the post etc. Fabulous! Summary: A fab loyalty card |
