Boots advantage card is a must for everyone. I love mine and I've owned it for years. The basic you can get for it is four points per pound though they do have special promotions days or weekends when they offer triple points or spend a certain amount to receive ten pounds worth of points.

You can take full ADVANTAGE of your card though as I do. I used it a couple of years ago to get a new mobile phone, got a good deal and also received three hundred pounds worth of points.

I mainly shop online with my advantage card and their site though recently changed is easy to navigate round. They have many deals such as buy one get one free and three for two which is great. I always look out for offers where they automatically give you for example six hundred points if you spend sixty pounds, not bad. Add to that a promotional code for that can be found on many sites such as hot uk deals and price dash. This could give you an extra five hundred points for spending fifty pounds. Recently purchased three Christmas presents, thirty pounds each and on three for two so cost sixty pounds instead of ninety. (I also search the product price to ensure I'm getting a good deal). Received free delivery, free card with words of my choice, eleven hundred promotional points and two hundred and forty points on the sale. In total my order came to sixty pounds and I received one thousand and forty points that equals thirteen pounds forty pence.

My favourite makeup is clinique and I always wait for extra points or three for two deals for purchasing and always use extra promotional codes that are found on the sites mentioned earlier.

What do points make? Well for me it's deodorants, toothpaste, razors, shampoo and the odd bottle of eternity.

You can use the points instore only. If there is a promotion, buy one get one free you still get this by using your advantage card so very good deal.

There are advantage card machines in the Boots stores. You can check your points balance, update your card, join clubs such as mother and baby and it will also give you offers such as giving you so many points for buying a certain item. Also look for glitches, it may give you a voucher for five hundred points for purchasing three max factor products and then maxfactor have their own promotion say buy one get one free or three for two.
Also gives you freebies to, such as a packet of wipes.

I truly love my advantage card and sometimes wonder how boots mange to make much of a profit.
Don't forget boots do young childrens clothing to and usually on offer and points can be used on these. Beach wear and sunglasses, has an opticians and pharmacy, just look for the deals and use the advantage card wisely.

Summary: I LOVE BOOTS, USE IT WELL AND YOU CAN MAKE POUNDS AS WELL AS SAVE ON PURCHASES
