====What is it?====

Boots Advantage Card is a loyalty card that you can sign up for, which offers you points every time you spend money.

====Application====

The application form is really easy to fill out and takes no time at all. When I signed up for it, I had the offer of being an organ donor. Not too sure if they are still doing that or not.

====How does it work?====

Every time you spend money in a boots store you are given 4 points for every pound, this is one of the highest paying points card around. Each point is relevant to 1p, it doesn't seem a lot but I tend to save all of mines up and buy things at Christmas. You are also sent a statement every month telling you how many points you have accumulated, and if you have spent any. You can also check in store on one of the Advantage Card machines, which will tell you your balance. If you want to spend your points, then when you are paying for your item let the cashier know that is what you intend, and the balance is deducted from your card. The only thing is, that you can't pay part of the balance from your Advantage Card and part in cash. You must have the full amount on your card that you wish to pay.

====Points offers====

In the statement that you are sent every month, there is normally some offers, that will either give you double points or more points when the voucher is used. Especially at Christmas there is also days and weekends that offer triple points. At the machines in store, when you insert your card, have look at the special offers section. There is normally some good offers that change each month for you that differ from the ones in your statement.

====My opinion====

In my opinion I really like the Advantage card. I love the fact that you can pay for any item from your card, and basically get it for free. The amount of points that you get are really great, it doesn't seem a lot but it really does add up very quickly. Especially if you are like me, and are in boots all the time spending money. As I said earlier my card also has the logo for an organ donor, this was my choice at the time and I am really glad that I chose to do it. It also means that I don't have to carry about another card too, as there is no room in my purse as it is! I find that the Boots Card is the one that I use the most, and its really tatty now with being used so much I think its time to apply for a new one.

Summary: Great card, always good to have points to spend.

I have never had a statement! The only downside for me is that you can't 'part pay' with your points...
