I always used to think what was the point in having an advantage card that was until i realised exactly how much I shop in Boots as i always buy hair dye, make up and sometimes even my lunch in there and so I decided to give it a go.

Yu can simply apply online or get an application form from the store fill it in which is a relativley quick one to do and within a couple of weeks you'll have the card.

Everytime you buy something frmo boots give them your card at the till and they'll add on your points. You usually get 4 points for every £1 you spend although sometimes they'll offer triple points usually around christmas, I tend to hold off buying things until then to make the most of it! Once you've saved up enough you can then use the points on your card to buy things. I try and save up until christmas as you can buy a few presetns which always save you a bit of money around that time of year.

Whats also good about the boots advantage card is that even if you forget your card when at boots simply tell the cashier that and they'll put the points on the receipt, which the next time your in boots you can take in the receipt and the points can be transferred to your card!

The only bad point is that more often then not I'll lose the reciept so I always find its best to check you've got your card on you before going out!

This is definatley a card worth getting as even if you simply shop in boots once in a while you'll still be able to use the points once you've saved for a while and if your going to shop there anyway you might as well get something free for it!
