The Boots Advantage card is a loyalty card (not a store card).

Whenever you make a purchase at Boots, present your Boots card at the till and you will collect points, and I think you can also collect points at their online store. The ratio is 4 points per £1 you spend, making the Boots card the most generous loyalty card in the UK. 1 point equals 1 penny to spend; this might not seem like much, but it adds up very quickly!

You can register for one either by picking up a form in-store or through their website. If you ever forget your card, the till assistant can validate your receipt, which means you have 30 days to take in your card and the receipt and the points will be added on.
When you have a sufficient amount of points, you can use them to either buy an item outright (handy if you've run out of cash!) or you can put some of your points towards the purchase. However, you can't spend your points online.

Sometimes, Boots will have double, or even triple, points weekends which are fantastic. In addition, the pink kiosks dotted around most Boots stores will let you know about exclusive offers and enable you to print off the coupons for these offers. AND, if you often buy a Boots Meal Deal, make sure you always present your Boots card - because if you buy 5 Meal Deals within a month, you can have a 6th one free.
