Advantages: Free goodies and they are generous with the points

Disadvantages: I could have earnt lots more if I could use it on my sisters baby milk

I've had an Advantage Card for about 6 months and have got enough points now for a posh bottle of perfume as well as some other treats that I am going to get today.

I first got one when the Boots by me were giving away little boxes of Lindor chocolates when you applied for a card so I filled the form in and didn't think anything else about it until my card came.

You get 4 points for every £1 you spend in Boots and everything is included apart from when you buy gift vouchers or baby milk. I am lucky cos my little sister is still in nappies so I got my mum to start buying them from Boots so I could have the points cos she's not interested in these sorts of points cards.

Everytime I need toiletries or make up now I look in Boots first and if the prices are reasonable then I buy them from here so I can collect the Advantage points.

Sometimes I get vouchers through the post for extra points on some items and in my Boots there is a machine where you put your card in and then can print out vouchers for more points when you buy what they are promoting at the time.

This makes the points mount up real quick and my best one was at Xmas where they were giving 500 points for any In The Night Garden purchase and my sister loves these. The best thing was I found 2 things that were reduced in price and got the extra 1000 points for them even though they were dead cheap in the first place.

When you want to spend your points you just have to give your card in with your purchase and the lady on the till will deduct the points from your card and then you have got free shopping for the points you have earnt on things you would be buying anyway.

To apply just fill a short form in and your card will be sent to you straight away.

Summary: I love my Boots Advantage Card !
