I got my Boots advantage card back in 2002. It never occurs to me that I can use the point for my shopping so I just keep on saving the point. Until summer 2004 I accidently looked at my receipt and found out I got over £100 in the card I can spend. I was so over the mood, it felt like X'mas at the time. So I went on a little Boots shopping spread, bought some perfumes, make ups and a lot of little bits. I think I spent about £50 at the end which is not that much money. The good thing about it is that I wasn't expecting to get all that stuff for free! Well, strictly speaking I didn't get them for free but the most important thing is you shop in Boots and they give you something back.
I have got a few other club cards, like Tesco, Sainsbury's (which I hardly use) and a few others. I think Boots is the most generous shop on given out club card point. I shop a lot in Boots so I always manage to save up a lot of points. Every now and then, you will receive offer letters to increase your point and get great discount too. It's a must have in your wallet!
