Advantages: You can collect points on everything
Disadvantages: None so far
I never miss out on something that gives me money or any reward back and i have had a Boots card for ages.
Currently they are the same size as a credit card and have the distinctive Boots logo on the front with Advantage Card in pink at the bottom along with your name and identification number.
I personally think the card looks a little girly although i think they have tried to aim for the mass market really. I'm not ashamed to say i have one anyway especially after the benefits i have received. Usually for every £1 you spend you receive 4 points back which equates to 4p but they often have bonus events and double points events.
I bought my last shaver and electric toothbrush at Boots and got over £20 in points (i'm sure i had some on their previously too though).
Then you can simply redeem the points for anything instore. At Christmas it's particularly handy and i usually save all my points up until then to help with cash flow.
Summary: Great for thrifty spenders everywhere!

- 20/06/09 I am a fan of the advantage card too - tend to save up the points and treat myself to something I usually wouldn't dare spend money on - thanks for the review, nice to read your take on it :o) |
