Advantages: Points add up fast

Disadvantages: none!

Theres lots of great reasons why you should have a Boots advantage card in your purse/wallet.

**How do i sign up for the card**

You can apply for your advantage card online, where they can give you an instant number so you can start shopping and collecting points straight away while you wait for your card to be sent through the post.

If you go to the store you can pick up an applictaion form in-store, where theres a cardboard temporary card attached to the front of the application form so you can start collecting straight away. Hand you completed application form to a member of staff or you can send it to a freepost address written on the form.

Or you can call 0845 124 4545 to apply for the card.

**How the card works**

You can collect 4 points for every £1 you spend in the store or online at www.boots.com. Each point you receive will give you 1p to spend in the store.
So for example, if you spend £5 in the store on shampoo hand over your advantage card and you will receive 20 points. Which will be worth 20p to spend in store.
To collect points online you can type the advantage card number found on the rear of your card on the basket page just before you pay for your items. Or sign up to a Boots online account, and type in your details and advantage card number, this will store your number so you dont have to type it in each time you shop with them online.
To receive the points you earnt online you have to put your card into the kiosk in-store, your points automatically then get added onto your card.

**Boost your points**

When your next in-store at boots have a look for the Kiosk machines, they look alot like cash machines but there pink and white. You place your card into the slot in the machine and it will display your points balance aswell as many money-off coupons and extra points on certain items in the store. Sometimes they even have coupons for freebies! You just print the coupon off pick up the item and hand over the coupon with your advantage card at the till. Check the machine regualry as the offers change weekly, sometimes points offer can be for example 300 extra points when you spend £20 in store.

**Health and Beauty magazine**

Every month Boots bring out a Health and Beauty magazine which is free to advantage card holders or £1 to non-members. You simply take it to the till to be scanned along with your advantage card.
Its full of beauty and health advice, advertising the products that Boots sells that can help you in different ways. Also always check out the last page of this magazine which is a page of coupons ranging from extra points to money off. So more points boosting is possible!

**How do i spend my points**

Points can be spent on everything in-store apart from the following: prescription items, stamps, gift cards, infant milks, mobile phone top-up cards and insurance products.
You have to have the full amount of points to buy the item for example: If you want to buy shampoo that costs £3 with your points then you have to have 300 points or more on your card. You cant pay half points half cash.

Unfortunately points cant be spent online.

**My Exprience of the card**

Its great! I collect up my points and use to buy birthday presents or just treats for myself! Ive never had any problems with this scheme and i thinks its far by the best rewards scheme on the high street! If your like me and always buy your toiletries in Boots then your points will add up fast, just dont forget to use the kiosk for those extra points!

Summary: The best rewards scheme on the high street!
