Disadvantages: Cannot use points towards things, only in total.

Boots stores are everywhere, small medium and large stores exist in small towns and large cities, and now even in out of town shopping centres, like industrial estates! This of course gives you lots of chances to use your advantage card, so no excuses not to have one!

The boots advantage card is free to get hold of. Usual purchases (with some exceptions such as prescriptions, stamps etc) give you four points for every pound spent. As far as I know that is the most rewarding regular point collector around. What is most exciting about this point scheme is the extras they have on offer. It is worth keeping an eye out for the 100 extra points when you buy... or 500 extra points when you buy two benefit products. Sometimes there are special offers for products that are so cheap you amlost get them "free" such as 100 extra points when you buy a shampoo worth £1.35. Its always worth looking out!

Boots points can be redeemed against in store products only. Also you have to have enough points for the full product price, for example if you want to buy something worth £4.50 you have to have a minimum of 450 points, you cannot do part payments.

Summary: Shop around for bargains.
