Advantages: simple 4p cashback per £1 spent.

Disadvantages: Can't spend points online

Boots Advantage card is a loyalty card which gives 4 points for every £1 spent at Boots. There is a very straightforward system where each point equals a penny. Therefore their loyalty system can be seen as giving a constant 4% discount on everything in their shop. Points can be spent on almost any product instore, although at present points can be accumulated online, but not spent online.

Boots Advantage also gives lots of bonus point offers. In most larger stores there are pale pink terminals where you can insert your card and update personal details, view current offers, but also print off bonus point or money off vouchers. A lot of these deals 'stack' together, so you can end up getting a discount off a £20 spend, plus 500 bonus points on tights, and then get a voucher back at the till for £5 off No 7 cosmetics.

Advantage is a clear, uncomplicated loyalty system. My only niggle is the points can only be used in store not online, and only to purchase a product in full, not part payment.
