The Boots advantage card scheme is free to sign up to and very easy to complete - just ask at the till. It offers you four points per £1 you spend which is pretty good for a scheme like this. You also get the Boots magazine for free if you have an advantage card (normally a pound) which is a decent read. You also get double and triple points weekends, special bonus points on certain products, some of these will be posted to you. You can also use the machines in store or go online for more offers.

Around Christmas you will also be invited to an evening of shopping - you often get 1,000 points at these evenings extra and often some mince pies and a glass of wine.

It's pretty easy to get to a good amount of points, and then you can buy yourself something nice! I've been a card holder for years and I reckon I have had a few hundred quid in points (I do go to Boots a lot though!).
