Advantages: It is easy to earn enough points to buy yourself a treat or get a free lunch
Disadvantages: Data Protection Issues that come with having any shop card
Boots claim that their Advantage Card is the best value card on the high street - and I would agree. For every pound spent, you earn four points. Each point equals 1p.
The card is easy to get. You can apply online or fill in a form in the store and post it off. In my experience, it has always been easy to get replacement cards, update addresses etc.
Boots often do special offers especially close to Christmas where you can earn extra points. They also have a pink kiosk in most bigger stores, which displays special offers that you can then print out and use alongside your boots card. I have never got any useful special offers from the Kiosk, but some of my friends love it.
I use my Boots Cards most to buy lunch. Boots has a great deal where you can buy any sandwich or salad, any drink (including Innocent Smoothies) and a Sweet or Crisps or Nuts (including a big bag of Cashew nuts) all for £3.00. With this deal, you earn eight boots points.
When using the Boots Card, after buying five meals in one calendar month, the sixth lunch is free.
It is such a great treat. I would urge my friends and family not to get boots cards, so that when we go shopping I can use my Card and get all their points. But - for everyone else - go out and get a Boots card today!
Summary: Just Fantastic
