Advantages: Doest cost you anything and you get rewards

The advantage card works in much the same way as any other company loyalty scheme.

How to get one:

You sign up either in store or online, and your plastic advantage card (about the size of a credit card) arrives in the post about 2 weeks later.

Collecting Points:

For every £1 you spend in Boots, you get 4 advantage points ( 1 point is equal to 1p so basically you are getting back 4p in every pound)

Boots very often run specials called bonus points, an example of how you would collect these is if they are running a special on a certain product such as VO5 hair products, ie, if you spend £30 on these products, you can claim 500 extra points.

The Overall Aim:

Use your boots card everytime you buy someting in store to collect points, and the points you earn can then be converted to buy products of the equivelent price instore.

My Opinoin:

I think this is a great wee card, it doesnt cost you anything and you get benefits from it, ive had mine about a year, and I dont use boots anymore than the next person and have managed to clock up about £30. Keep youre eye out for the special points as they are they best way to up your balance. Since having the card however, I find myself visiting boots more than any other similar store to buy toileteries which may be a false economy as it tends to be slightly more expensive than the likes of Superdrug.

Summary: Get one - you have nothing to loose
