Advantages: The Card!

Disadvantages: n/a

I remember getting the Boots Advantage card when I was just 15! Me and my friend got it as something to do at the time. Abit random hey! 8 years later and after alot of money spent in Boots on make-up and cosmetics I have had alot of good rewards from using this card.

Every £1 you spend gives you 4 Boots Advantage Card points and they also have days/ occasions where they have offers (e.g double/ triple your points) in order for you to earn extra points. These are probably the times when you should shop at boots, as this is how you can make the most of getting your rewards.

Boots sells a good range of products including: make-up, cosmetics, electricals, baby products, lunch food products, perfumes, medicines, gifts and even the ability to process your photos. This not only means that you can earn your points from purchasing these products but you can also exchange your points for one of these products.

Boots can be known as having slightly higher prices for certain products than its main competitor Superdrug, but this may be the reason for them having the Boots Advantage Card. I like shopping at Boots for its No7 range, giftsets and also for its meal deals. The boots points really do add up!

So far I have used points to buy mascara, french manicure set, suntan lotion, foundation and falsh eye lashes. I really do love using my Boots card and believe it is a good reward system.

If you do not have your card when purchasing you can still put the points on your card next time round either via the Boots Advantage Card machines or by at the tills at long as its not too busy. At the Boots Advantage Card machine, you can perform a number of tasks such as check your points or see what offers they have on.

Definitely something worth having - Its Free. If you are going to be buying the things you are going to buy anyway and earn points.... why not!

I couldn't agree more, I was able to buy my son's high chair with points!

Like a couple of others here, I think it's a nice card on the face of it, and if you shop at Boots anyway, but the extra prices over other chains rather overwhelm the benefit.

All this is true, but it's good fun using the points!
