Advantages: You Can Gain Points Easily
Disadvantages: Not Able To Redeem Points On Baby Milks
I would recommend anyone to get a Boots Advantage Card. It is by far one of the most generous loyalty cards available on the high street at present time.
I have had mine since I was 16 years old and it has got me through some difficult times. Its ideal for picking up items when your low on funds and once I even managed to get everyone's Christmas presents without spending any cash so what's not to like.
To get an Advantage Card you can sign up online and their head office will send you a permanent card that you can use every time your shopping in Boots Stores or www.boots.com. You can also sign up in store where the advisor can issue you with a temporary card that can be used straight away until head office send your permanent on to your home address.
Every time you spend a £1 you collect 4 points straight away. Then when you have enough points you can use them to purchase selected items in store. There is always special deals on in store as ways to earn extra points and if you register online they will send you vouchers for double points or money off vouchers every month.
You can keep track of how many points you have by registering online or in store at one of their designated card machines. You also get an update of your balance and any new points you have received at the bottom of your receipt.
The only downfall about this card is that it cant be used on baby milks, prescription items, gift vouchers/cards, stamps, mobile phone top ups. You are also not able to redeem points online.
I love my Advantage Card, I buy lots of baby items In store and then with the points I get to treat myself to new beauty products.
