Advantages: 4 points for every £1 spent

Disadvantages: Need to pay in full for products

I have owned a boots advantage cards for several years now and the rewards a quite generous. With 4 points per one pound spent being awarded. Each point is worth one pence to spend in store. Products are not always best value in Boots so I wouldn't use the card just for the points. However if you are regularly spending money in Boots then definitely get one as the rewards will stack up. Other benefits include being sent money off vouchers in the post and being able to claim extra money off and bonus points vouchers in the instore reward card machine.

One downsides is: you can only use points to pay in full, i.e. you can't buy a £25 product for £15 in points and £10 cash, only with £25 in points. This means you will probably never get to use up all your points and will always be left with at least a few points on your card. However, this shouldn't be a problem if you keep using it indefinitely.

All in all a good card worth having in your wallet but don't buy everything in boots ust for the points.
