Advantages: free, get points to get products

Disadvantages: you can only get certain products

The boots advantage card is a loyalty scheme. You get 1 advantage point for every 25p that you spend in boots.

To get the advantage card, all you do is fill in a form with your name and address. To get a form, ask a memeber of staff in boots, and they will give you one. The card is free and will be delivered to your house through the post, when they have received your form.

You can get points on most products, apart from medicines and prescriptions. No idea why though you can not earn points on these.

Items that have a * on the shelf, next to the product, are one's that earn you points on your card.

You can see how many points you have on your receipt when you have bought something. There is also a machine in the store, where you put your card in and that will also tell you how many points you have got on your card as well.

When you have so many points you can them buy something with your points. You can only buy something with your pints, if the product has a * on the shelf. So you can only buy certain items with your points, but they do have a wide range to choose from though. I have never got anything with my points so far, so not quite sure what you can get with them though.

Your points soon add up especially if you shop a lot at boots. I don't really shop that much at boots, but when I do I always use my card to add points to it. I have over 300 points on my card so far.

Every so often they send you a free magazine, with health and beauty tips in it. It also has vouchers in where you can get extra points. I think I have only had this magazine twice so far though, so you do not get it that often.

It's definitely worth getting a boots advantage card, especially if you shop there a lot so that you do get loads of points to get whatever you want then.
