Crowned Review Boots Advantage Card: One of the Advantage's of Boots (1221 words)

Loyalty cards, I’ve had them all. The (now deceased) Safeway ABC card, Nectar cards aplenty, WHSmith, the list goes on. However, all these do is clutter up the credit card section in my purse BUT the one I’ve stayed, well, loyal to is Boots Advantage Card. Basically, with the Advantage card you get points added to your card each time ...  Read the complete review

Unlike other loyalty cards, Boots advantage card allows children as young as 11 years old to have one. This clever ploy to guarantee loyal shoppers worked for me! I got one years ago, and although it is only now that I use it more, beeing able to have one in my little purse made me feel quite grown up at the time. ORGAN DONOR ...  Read the complete review

I have had one of these for years, so long in fact I no longer know which address it has for it. But that is not a problem, I can now walk into the shop, stick the card in the machine and there is all the information I don't get via the post. The advantage card is used everytime you shop at Boots, for every 25p you spend you get a ...  Read the complete review

I have had my advantage card for over two years now. I don't spend a lot at Boots except for makeup when its needed which is roughly about once a month. The majority of time I use it a lot of Christmas time when buying the great gifts they have on offer. The irritating thing is that the small stores don't stock many of the items you see ...  Read the complete review

Have you noticed that almost every other shop seems to be running a loyalty card scheme? Some of these loyalty cards are little more than a way for the shops to gain information on our shopping habits, and many of them pay a penny (or less) per pound spent. But by far the most generous of these schemes is the Boots Advantage Card, which pays up to ...  Read the complete review

Ok so I work in the city, and while I can't afford to buy my lunch in Pret everyday I have to find any alternative source for my now regulary occuring working lunches. Bingo! With the huge amount of toiletries I buy weekly, it would be very silly of me not to use a Boot?s advantage card. I applied for this baby about five years ago when they first came out, and I?m ever so glad I did! Using my card when I made a purchase meant that I collected ?points? and points mean prizes when it comes to spending in-store. ...  Read the complete review

I don`t normally bother with points cards like this, but the Boots card is deffinately an exception to the rule. They give out a much better rate of points than other stores (you get 1p back for every 25p you spend), and give plenty of bonus points as well. The biggest problem with the card is that you don`t always earn points - stamps, ...  Read the complete review

This is something I quickly learnt arfet having my daughter 4 years ago... about the same time the card came out. I have had my Boots advantage card for just over a year now, and I have mixed feelings about it, not through any wrongdoings on Boots' side, or any small prints, but because of the concept of the card itself (don't worry, I will explain what I mean very soon). First I will try and explain how it works and how to get it, shall I? ...  Read the complete review

I'm one of those people who has a loyalty card for absolutely everything. I'm a total non-believer in store cards (don't even get me *started* on what topshop has done to my friends with their cards!), but give me a loyalty card and I'm sold. I'm the kind of person who has a selection of starbucks' frappuccino loyalty ...  Read the complete review
