Cahoot is a division of Abbey National and is a great banking site. Don’t let the flash preview put you off the site can be viewed without using Flash just select the non Flash option. At present the interest rates are pretty high at 6.5% gross with £1 - £4999 in your account and 7.1% with a balance of £5000 and over if you choose not to have a cheque book. If you want to have a cheque book the rate is still pretty good 5.0% gross PA.

The account also comes with the following additional benefits.

An interest free £250 overdraft.
24 hour access to your account details at Cahoots secure website.
E-mail and text message updates on your account.
Free access to your money at over 27,000 Link cash dispensers in the UK.
A 24 hour contact centre to call if you have and queries.

The interest is calculated daily and added on to your balance at the end of each month.

The service allows you to set up your standing orders etc via the web. Since using Cahoot I have hardly ever gone into my main banks branch.

All in all a great service and an attractive and easy to use website.
