Disadvantages: You can't withdraw your money even though it's instant access!

DON'T put any money into Capital One Savings account. I had put a lot of money into there only to be told that I can not take any money out when I tried to withdraw some money. It was meant to be instant access savings! Furthermore, when I call their helpline, they put the phone down on me as they say they can not access my account. When I wrote in to complain I was told by their manager that someone had mistakenly put a notice on my savings account that no withdrawal was allowed and their policy is to put the phone down on their customers if they see this note on the account.

I think it is theft for them to keep customers' money and not answer the phone so that the issue can't be resolved and so they can keep the money longer. AVOID this company at all costs.

Summary: Very rude helpline staff and terrible procedures full of critical mistakes
