Advantages: Great for people getting back on to the credit ladder or just starting out.

Disadvantages: High interest but pay it off in full every month and you will benefit more from it.

Hello everyone, just want to share my thoughts and experience with about Capital One Classic Visa, when I first applied for this card my credit rating was appalling to say the least, so I filled out the application online and it came back with the so common reply these days "We shall contact you in the next 7-10 days to give you a discussion", so I waited and then to my surprise they approved me with a £200 starting limit, I was over the moon, here is my fresh start and on my fourth statement they increased my credit limit to £500, they have been very helpful and pleasant every time I have spoken to one of their customer service reps on the phone and have not had any problems at all.
So, in a nut shell, Capital One are a very good credit card provider and I can definitely recommend them, even if you have had problems in the past, they could help you out and get you back on the credit ladder.

Summary: Excellent tool for repairing your credit rating.
