After being Capital One customers for several years now, we've recently fallen into financial difficulties and missed a couple of payments for the first time. We have several creditors who've been hounding us with repeat phone-calls - but I have to say that Capital One have been the best of the bunch. Their support and customer service has been outstanding. They provided great advice, and have been overwhelmingly considerate and understanding in their approach. They were extremely sympathetic to our difficult circumstances, and reassured us that we're going to get through this, and affirmed their commitment to do everything they can to help and support us. Yes, we've been paying a whopping rate of interest to Capital One for several years now...but based on the incredible level of service and support we've just received, it all seems worth it. I've always said that the real measure of a good company is how they respond when it comes to the crunch and something's gone wrong. Well after our recent experience, Capital One have literally leapt forward in my estimation and respect. Thank you Capital One for your sensitivity and support - your handling of a difficult situation has been a welcome and wonderful surprise during a particularly distressing period of our lives.
