Advantages: Generous introductory offer, Good APR, Nice colour!

Disadvantages: None discovered yet

Funny how they call this Mastercard the Capital One Platinum - I mean, with a minimum cardholder salary of £10,000, it's not exactly restricted to high-rollers.

But no matter, cos it comes with a very generous introductory offer - all purchases are interest free for nine months, and balance transfers are only charged at 6.9% APR for nine months. After that the rate goes up to 12.7% (or 21.4% for cash advances).

As I had racked up over £2,000 on my Barclaycard, I realised I could be saving an appreciable amount (at least £30 a month) by taking out this card. Even after the promotional rate ends, I'll still be saving money, and there's no annual charge. I think my Barclaycard might be pensioned off - especially since they "improved" their Reward points scheme (ie removed all the decent items like free flights, so that you can now claim exciting things such as Little Chef vouchers).

The card arrived quickly, and they have a 24 hour customer service line that is very helpful. Recommended.

Bit more detailed op would have been useful.
