Advantages: excellent service, very helpful, very quick

Disadvantages: can't think of any for this experience

Having had a very bad purchase experience using our Capital One Visa Card (purchase from Auction World, that's another story and you will be able to read our report) we rang Capital One to see if there was anything they could do.
Immediately, while we were on the phone, they processed our complaint and we will be receiving a form to sign and return. Capital One will then issue Auction World with a letter advising them that they are in dispute with them over the payment.
This doesn't guarantee that we will get our money back, but hats off to Capital One for giving us some hope. They also know their stuff and were really reassuring over our rights as a consumer. So nice to speak to someone at a call centre who can tell you more than what simply pops up on their computer screen!
