Advantages: Helps Your Credit Rating

Disadvantages: High Interest

Ever since i've had access to the internet i've come across great web-only bargains much lower then in your local stores. At the time I did have a SOLO debit card but there were very few online shopping sites which took that payment option.

So i decieded to apply for a credit card. A few weeks went by with letters saying NO, NO, NO.

So i gave up.. Then came the release of Unlimited Access internet deals for a flat monthly fee.. But they only took credit cards, so i was unabled to take up on these offers.

I tryed applying for credit cards again, but still no luck... Then one day a Capital One junk mail fell on my mat, had a quick look and filled it in. A week later i got a letter and there stuck at the bottom was a brand new shiny mastercard...

At last i said, now i can stop paying BT £30-40 a month on internet phone calls and can have unlimited access for below £15.

I really didn't understand interest rates and never got charged any because i always paid off in full each month and never ever got near my £200 limit.

At the time I didn't see it as a credit card, i just looked at it as a online payment method.

Well anyway 6 months past buy and got a letter from them saying my credit limit went up to £750

Just before christmast our TV blew up a few days before and since we have only just had satellite installed i decided to go out and buy myself a new tv on my credit card.

This is where the bad thing comes in, i couldn't afford to pay it all off and so the interest was something like £6-8 a month.

Then i saw the advert for a marbles credit card where you could transfer the balance and pay no interest for 6months. Great i said, i think i'll have a go. I applyed and within 24hours i got a email from them saying YES YES YES. I got the new card with a credit limit of a grand. Woo i said to my self, let wouldn't of happened a few years ago.

So ever s
ince getting my capitalone mastercard, i've found my credit rating go up. Now i can get catalogues, low-interest credit cards.

Sorry for the rating but you haven't said any thing about the card itself, like APR etc
