After being Capital One customers for several years now, we've recently fallen into financial difficulties and missed a couple of payments for the first time. We have several creditors who've been hounding us with repeat phone-calls - but I have to say that Capital One have been the best of the bunch. Their support and customer service ... Capital One was the first credit cards I was ever issued back over 10 years ago and for the longest time I really enjoyed using them, despite the fact I was paying a $60 annual fee for the card. The customer service was good and I was getting rewards on my purchases and everything seemed great. About three years ago ... Read the complete review

I have a fabulous credit score because I have my credit cards (as few as possible) paid automatically out of my bank account every month. I paid off my mortgage and paid cash for my used car. You can hate me. I have a $46,000 credit limit on my Mileage Plus card which I did use when I paid for my wedding but paid off immediately. I ... Read the complete review

I took out a Capital One card a year ago when I was working full time since then I have been diagnosed with a terminal illness, I called their "customer call centre" like others I could not understand a word that was said and the repeated scripted answers nearly drove me insane!!! Quick Intro: I consider my credit rating to be 'poor', it's not that I have a history of bad credit, it's that I have no history of credit, especially at my current address. Based on my circumstances I researched cards likely to accept me and like many others I was quickly directed to the 'capital one classic' card. It's main ... Read the complete review

CAPITAL ONE ARE A COMPLETE JOKE and a company that really needs to sort it self out. I would highly reccommend that people looking for a card go elsewhere. I have spent 2 days of heartache and tears trying to clear my new husbands bill. They made this very hard and the process sucks. there attitude which is stated from a person we spoke to at capital one that they dont send you details etc to ask for payment but will leave it to mount up on interest then slap you with a bill 20 years on when you owe thousands. PLEASE THINK HARD BEFORE USING THEM I REALLY ADVISE YOU NOT TOO!!!!

I'm not even a customer of Capital One, and over the last week I have been receiving 4 or 5 nuisance telephone calls from them. They ignore all attempts to stop them. If you are thinking of using Capital One I would suggest that you look elsewhere, they obviously have no idea about privacy and from my experience they will ignore any attempt you make at stopping their unwanted calls. I repeat do not trust Capital One, for me they have proven themselves completely untrustworthy.

Capital One are complete rip off merchants, they vary the payment date of your monthly statement depending on how many days in the month there is? They have charged me a late payment fee on several occasions when I have paid 20 days in advance of the due date!!!! I have tried to call but it takes at least 15 mins to get through to someone who does not understand what I am saying. I have looked online and Capital One are being sued in America for making incorrect charges to clients and making fake offers to increase the interest rates. DONT GO THERE THEM!!!

I have not yet tested the capital one card so i will keep this review short and sweet. First of all my credit rating isn't the best and have had late payments in the past. However capital one accepted my application for the classic card allowing me to rebuild my credit rating up. The online application is very simple to use and ... Read the complete review

I obtained a capital one card some time ago through a promotion, when their interest rate was low. They sent a card through the post, after a relatively straight forward application process. I then had to ring up an activate it before I could use it, which I believe is common with most debit/credit card companies. It sounds simple but I ... Read the complete review

I opened up a Capital One credit card last February after paying off all our debts, but still having a bad credit rating. I've had a Capital One Credit card for a good few years now, and haven't had any problems with it. I was approved about 6 years ago and was given a £200 credit limit. I applied for a Capital One card as one of my first ever credit cards.
